Job Opportunity: Requirements Engineer (w/m/d)

We are looking for a Requirements Engineer for the "Ground-Based-Systems ISTAR Solutions" program area, to be based in Oberkochen or Aalen, starting as soon as possible.

The "Ground-Based-Systems ISTAR Solutions" division is responsible for managing national and international customer projects as well as internal development projects involving networked sensor solutions and comprehensive land (armored) vehicle solutions. The Requirements Engineer will work within an interdisciplinary team, serving as the interface between the "Ground-Based-Systems" business unit and engineering.

Responsibilities include:

1. Translating customer requirements into technical requirements
2. Contributing to technical concepts and architectures of systems and subsystems
3. Requirements analysis and management
4. Conducting technical reviews and audits
5. Creating technical documentation
6. Supporting negotiations on technical content with customers, partners, and suppliers
7. Assisting with tenders

Willingness to travel is expected.

Qualifications:

• Completed engineering degree, e.g., Systems Engineering, Vehicle Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable
• Experience in Requirements Engineering and MBSE of System-of-Systems in complex applications
• Initial experience in technical coordination with interdisciplinary development teams is advantageous
• Fluent German and English skills
• Experience working on high-tech products at the limits of physics
