Requirements Engineer (Battery Storage) - Baden-Wuerttemberg - Up to €115,000 + Bonus (m/f/d)

Based in South West Germany, my international client is offering an unparalleled Requirements Engineer, with a focus on Battery Storage.

At the core of the sprawling Engineering sector, this technology giant develops world-leading Electronic Solutions for multiple industries. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Requirements Engineer to utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external automation experts within an agile development environment
• Assess customer benefits and the technical direction of the project to optimize advantages and establish automation needs
• Gain in-depth knowledge of the system and take on a leadership role in the field of battery storage, encompassing mechanical, thermodynamic, and electrical components
• Develop software specifications by clearly defining and abstracting functional requirements
• Assist in designing control and monitoring systems for battery storage solutions

Requirements

• Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or similar
• Obtained 5+ years of relevant experience in Large-Scale energy storage systems (e.g. PV, Wind, Power Plants, Battery Storage, etc.)
• 2+ years experience in a Requirements Engineering role
• Knowledge and experience in the development of entire systems, including Electrical, and mechanical components and their corresponding control systems
• A confident and professional approach when interacting with internal teams, predominantly Software and Sales
• Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory, ideally German also
