Zusammenfassung

Audi F1 Project sucht einen Rennmotoren-Mechaniker zur Unterstützung der Formel 1-Entwicklung. Qualifikationen

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany), known as one of the most modern of its kind in Europe; the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), renowned for innovative technologies and passion for racing; and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit originates from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for chassis development and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).

In development, you will be part of the team creating a high-performance powertrain as a racing-car-engine mechanic. High-efficiency, high-performance sports engines are premium technological products assembled by specialists with the necessary training and experience.

This position is available starting January 1, 2026.

Your Mission
  1. Independently assemble, maintain, and disassemble Formula 1 engines
  2. Perform inspections of high-performance sports engines and individual components
  3. Examine, measure, assess, document, and evaluate engine parts
  4. Independently perform and document all repair and modification work on high-performance engines
  5. Carry out mechanical work
  6. Produce assemblies according to drawing specifications carefully and on schedule
  7. Collaborate with the design team on continuous improvement processes for assemblies
Your Profile
  1. Training as a car mechanic or mechatronics technician
  2. Additional qualification as a technician or master tradesperson is desirable
  3. Several years of professional experience as a racing-car-engine mechanic
  4. Experience with Office products and PC work
  5. Experience with engine repair or motorsports
  6. Deep specialist knowledge of racing engine structures
  7. Extensive knowledge of engine technology and drive systems
  8. Excellent teamwork, organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility
  9. Independent and structured work approach
  10. High commitment, initiative, and strong communication skills
  11. Proficiency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language at a basic level
