Overview

This role is 100% remote for someone with E-COMMERCE Background and fluent GERMAN! You will be working with the Germany-based team of one of the fastest growth e-commerce businesses in the world, and your job is to research, locate and engage with new suppliers & vendors with new products that will be sold on the site. You must have an e-commerce background and an established network of vendors and be able to leverage your knowledge of what sells / what doesn’t and which vendors are the most reliable and offer the best-in-class service and product spread. This role is very well paid and there is an excellent career path for the right person. The role is 100% remote for someone based in Germany or Austria.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The company is looking to attract small independent retailers to the site in order to increase consumer choice and to enhance the e-tailers selling opportunity.

DUTIES
  • Research, develop and initiate conversations with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands with a view to them putting their goods on the e-commerce platform
  • Help merchandise partners establish their presence on the e-commerce platform
  • Help vendors develop a business plans (e.g., market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and logistics)
  • Do market research and gain an understanding of what customers are buying online
  • Help your vendors with plans to help them cope with logistics during high-demand periods such as Christmas
  • Undertake data analysis of consumer trends
REQUIREMENTS
  • Fluent German & English

  • An established network of relationships with local sellers in the DACH Region
