Overview

This role is 100% remote for someone with E-COMMERCE Background and fluent GERMAN! You will be working with the Germany -based team of one of the fastest growth e-commerce businesses in the world, and your job is to research, locate and engage with new suppliers & vendors with new products that will be sold on the site. You must have an e-commerce background and an established network of vendors and be able to leverage your knowledge of what sells / what doesn’t and which vendors are the most reliable and offer the best-in-class service and product spread. This role is very well paid and there is an excellent career path for the right person. The role is 100% remote for someone based in Germany or Austria

Responsibilities

• Research, develop and initiate conversations with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands with a view to them putting their goods on the e-commerce platform
• Help merchandise partners establish their presence on the e-commerce platform
• Help vendors develop a business plans (eg market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and logistics)
• Do market research and gain an understanding of what customers are buying online
• Help your vendors with plans to help them cope with logistics during high-demand periods such as Christmas
• Undertake data analysis of consumer trends

Requirements

• Fluent German & English
