Jobbeschreibung

Osenton Law, P.A., a growing online/virtual law firm serving clients throughout Florida in probate and estate planning matters, is seeking an entrepreneurial remote attorney to grow his/her practice. This is an opportunity to get in on the “ground floor” of a rapidly scaling firm as it rises by adding clients, attorneys and staff.

Job Description: This is a partnership-track (**see below**) long-term position (NOT a “stepping stone” job). The attorney will serve as the leader of a team of paralegals and legal assistants (and later junior attorneys), in collaboration with the firm's managing attorney while handling his/her own case load with clients in probate, estate planning, and related legal matters. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial attorney with the ability to turn prospects into clients, possess strong drafting and negotiation skills, and work independently while adhering to the firm’s standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle probate cases, including formal administration, summary administration, and ancillary probate.
Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, and other estate planning documents.
Lead a team of paralegals and legal assistants.
Grow the firm’s practice into other areas such as Medicaid planning and asset protection.
Onboard and mentor junior attorneys and staff.
Serve as lead counsel in probate litigation and disputes, collaborating with the managing attorney when necessary.

Partnership Opportunity: Please note this is NOT a “stepping stone” position. We hire for the long term. We expect the successful candidate to become a partner in the firm quickly, sharing revenue immediately and building equity going forward.

Compensation/Benefits: Base salary plus bonus. Liberal PTO. Payment of bar dues, malpractice insurance and all other expenses of maintaining and growing practice. Autonomy (no micromanaging). NO billable hours requirement.

Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a resume to info@osentonlaw.com with the subject line: "Attorney – Probate and Estate Planning."
