Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Reinsurance Accounting & Valuation team at our headquarters in Hanover, Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 3 years, commencing as soon as possible as a Reinsurance Accountant Retrocession Cover.

You can look forward to:

• Independent preparation of comprehensive retrocession cover statements, including claims notifications and determination of figures to be settled
• Processing and checking incoming and outgoing reinsurance settlements, as well as current account processing of payments
• Processing claims notifications, including technical sanction checks
• Correspondence and coordination with internal and external customers worldwide
• Participation in working groups and digitalization projects

You come equipped with:

• Commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting, or taxes, and/or a degree in business administration with a focus on these areas
• Ideally, experience in processing statements of account and current accounts related to (re)insurance contracts
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• A strong understanding of numbers and curiosity to learn new IT technologies and tools
• Business fluent German
• Conversational English, mainly in written form
