The Reimbursement and Market Access Manager DACH (m/f/d) is responsible for both tactical and strategic Health Economics, Reimbursement, and Market Access delivery of in-market (currently SIR-Spheres Y-90 resin microspheres) and pipeline Sirtex products primarily in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The role involves defining reimbursement strategies, engaging with payers, and developing materials to optimize market access in the DACH region.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Secure funding for Sirtex products across DACH at national and sub-national levels, supporting local teams in negotiations with funding bodies.
• Define and implement reimbursement strategies considering market insights and dynamics.
• Align regional business plans with reimbursement activities.
• Use data sources and research to develop compelling value propositions for DACH markets.
• Maintain knowledge of payer environments, stakeholders, and processes in DACH.
• Monitor competitor payer messaging and strategies.
• Create supporting materials for negotiations.
• Contribute to European reimbursement strategy with DACH region insights.
• Identify data gaps and communicate internally.
• Develop networks with payer stakeholders.
• Attend scientific congresses to stay updated and maintain relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years’ Market Access experience in Germany with successful funding negotiations.
• Background in life sciences or sick funds; MSc in economics preferred.
• Understanding of reimbursement structures for medical devices in Germany.
• Experience in oncology is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of Health Economic principles and data simplification.
• Well-connected with funding bodies in Germany and DACH.
• Experience engaging payers for in-market and pre-launch assets.
• Strong project management, communication, and industry insight.
• Native German speaker with excellent English skills.
