As a RegTech Engineer, you will play a key role in building secure, scalable, and compliant systems supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM), governance tooling, and regulatory technology operations. You will collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Compliance teams to develop features, integrate systems, and maintain infrastructure for security and regulatory reporting.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional eager to shape the future of regulatory tech within a fast-paced, high-impact team.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining scalable systems for IAM and regulatory compliance, ensuring performance and audit-readiness.
- Translating compliance and business needs into technical solutions through close stakeholder collaboration.
- Designing, integrating, and operating tooling such as GRC platforms, CMDBs, and reporting automation pipelines.
- Developing and maintaining APIs and data pipelines connecting systems like AWS, Jira, Okta, Confluence, and internal tools.
- Ensuring compliance with frameworks such as DORA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 via automation and infrastructure design.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and secure code with a focus on testing and system resilience.
- Supporting DevOps practices, including CI/CD workflows and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Participating in peer reviews and technical design discussions within the InfoSec Engineering team.
- Staying updated on emerging regulatory requirements and security technologies, integrating learnings into your work.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.
- Solid experience with MySQL and relational database design.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated environments or with compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to GRC platforms or third-party risk tooling integration.
- Interest in InfoSec and collaboration with security teams.
