Job Description:

Your Responsibilities

As a RegTech Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building secure, scalable, and compliant systems that support Identity and Access Management (IAM), governance tooling, and regulatory technology operations. You'll collaborate across Security, Engineering, and Compliance teams to develop features, integrate systems, and maintain the infrastructure required for security and regulatory reporting.

This role is ideal for a hands-on person who wants to shape the future of regulatory tech within a fast-paced, high-impact team.

Build and maintain scalable systems for IAM and regulatory requirements, ensuring performance and audit-readiness.

Translate compliance and business needs into robust technical solutions through close collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Design, integrate, and operate tooling such as Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms, CMDBs, and reporting automation pipelines.

Develop and maintain APIs and data pipelines to connect systems like AWS, Jira, Okta, Confluence, and internal tools.

Ensure compliance alignment with frameworks such as DORA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 through automation and infrastructure design.

Write clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on testing, security, and system resilience.

Support DevOps practices, contributing to CI/CD workflows and infrastructure as code (Terraform).

Participate in peer reviews and technical design discussions within the InfoSec Engineering team.

Stay ahead of emerging regulatory requirements and security technologies, and continuously integrate learnings into your work.

Your Profile

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

5+ years of experience in software development.

Strong proficiency in Python.

Experience designing and working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.

Solid experience with MySQL and relational database design.

Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps workflows.

Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience working in regulated environments or building systems to meet compliance frameworks.

Exposure to GRC platforms or experience integrating third-party risk tooling.

Interest in InfoSec and a desire to work closely with security teams.
