WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Be part of our "Global Consumer Safety Team," which creates and assesses large sets of scientific data to ensure the production of safe and healthy foods for consumers. This includes developing analytical methods to quantify pesticide residues and performing residue studies to determine maximum pesticide residue levels (MRLs).

• As a Regulatory Scientist, you will develop analytical residue methods, including validations, and plan and conduct residue studies in compliance with OECD guidelines, GLP regulations, GHS standards, and financial requirements.
• This role involves preparing food and feed matrices for trace-level pesticide analysis, including extraction and clean-up processes.
• You will also be responsible for advancing the scientific field of residue analytics by developing, implementing, and communicating innovative strategies, methods, and techniques.
• Additionally, you will ensure the efficient use of external suppliers and develop new ideas, concepts, and approaches.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• A master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a PhD in natural sciences.
• Knowledge of sample preparation techniques and analytical equipment (e.g., HPLC-MS/MS) and R&D laboratory processes.
• Expertise in plant protection products and the agricultural industry is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently as an independent scientist and as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with timely and effective correspondence.
• Proficiency in English and ideally German.
