Jobbeschreibung

Solaris is Europe's leading embedded finance platform. Solaris’ full German banking licence and proprietary modular B2B tech stack empowers its partners – from SMEs to large, multinational, non‑financial companies – to offer compliant, customer‑centric banking services, providing seamless experiences to customers across all industries. Founded in 2016, Solaris pioneered the Banking‑as‑a‑Service market with an unparalleled combination of tech and banking. Solaris is headquartered in Berlin and employs 300 people in Europe.

Your Task:

  • Take charge of preparing and submitting regulatory and statistical reports under the CRR and KWG. Your primary focus will be on reports such as CoRep (e.g. Own Funds, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposure, etc.). Given the nature of regulatory reporting, you will manage strict statutory deadlines and ensure timely compliance under pressure.
  • Continuously monitor regulatory developments, analyse their impact on our organization, and take responsibility for the implementation of new requirements.
  • Drive the enhancement and automation of our reporting systems by defining and testing data requirements and optimising existing workflows.
  • Work in close partnership with the Finance department and our Financial Data Department to ensure the consistency and quality of the underlying data. You will also help improve internal controls and documentation.
  • Provide regulatory guidance for the onboarding of new partners and products, ensuring all new activities are compliant from the start.
  • Be a point of contact for auditors and supervisors, fostering a professional and transparent relationship.
We'd love to see

Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities and scope of role will range. We don’t care much about fancy titles, but rather about real personal and professional development, as laid out in our learning framework. Let’s figure together out how you can contribute to our team.

  • Several years of professional experience in the regulatory reporting environment of a bank or financial institution in Germany.
  • Hands‑on experience in preparing and submitting regulatory reports. Knowledge in CoRep and/or FinRep is highly desirable.
  • Practical experience working with regulatory reporting software. Familiarity with Regnology RRH would be a significant advantage.
  • Reliable, thriving in a deadline‑driven environment. Ability to proactively manage your own schedule and deliver high‑quality results independently, even under pressure.
  • Strong AI skills (e.g., using AI tools for data analysis, process optimisation, or research) and eagerness to leverage these technologies to drive innovation at Solaris.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles – strong plus, given close collaboration with Finance.
  • Skilled at independently analysing new requirements and translating them into concrete implementation projects.
  • Proactive individual who sees challenges as opportunities and enjoys improving processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and thrives both when working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Fluent in German and English (German mandatory).
Benefits
  • Home office budget.
  • Learning & development budget of €1,000 per year and a transparent growth framework to support your career goals.
  • Competitive salary and a variable remuneration program.
  • Monthly meal allowance.
  • Deutschland ticket subsidy.
  • 28 vacation days, increasing by 2 days after 2 years and 3 days after 3 years with Solaris.
  • Opportunity to work abroad for up to 12 weeks per year.
