Your Impact In this role you will play a key role in influencing and implementing technical and regulatory frameworks across national, European, and international platforms. You’ll represent the company’s strategic interests in standardisation committees, anticipate regulatory trends, and drive internal alignment across cross-functional teams. Your Responsibilities External Representation & Strategic Influence
  • Represent the company in industry committees, regulatory bodies, and technical associations.
  • Participate in national and international standardisation working groups to protect and promote business interests.
  • Build strong relationships with standardisation organisations, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor developments and proactively influence evolving regulations relevant to construction and building envelopes. Internal Alignment & Communication
  • Lead and coordinate a network of internal technical experts across business units.
  • Evaluate and interpret upcoming standards and translate their business impact into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Legal, Marketing and Production to ensure smooth implementation of new requirements.
  • Organise and deliver training, updates, and briefings on compliance topics and regulatory trends.
  • Support the legal team with regulatory risk assessments and certification strategy. Monitoring & Risk Management
  • Continuously track regulatory changes and evolving standards across global markets.
  • Develop internal guidance, whitepapers, and strategic positioning documents.
  • Oversee certification processes and cost structures.
  • Define and implement a future-proof standards strategy aligned with business goals. Your Profile
  • Several years of relevant experience in standards, certification, or regulatory affairs.
  • Industry knowledge in roofing, waterproofing, or related construction sectors is highly desirable.
  • Experienced in working with international teams and navigating complex organisational structures.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on attitude and customer-centric communication.
  • Excellent English language skills are essential; German language skills are a strong asset.
