Zusammenfassung

CoGreen consulting is seeking a Regulatory Manager to oversee the (re)authorization of botanical feed flavorings in the EU, starting August 3, 2025. The role requires a PhD or Master’s in a scientific field, strong English writing skills, and the ability to manage projects. Jobbeschreibung

CoGreen consulting provides regulatory and scientific assistance mainly for the feed industry.

The future collaborator will be involved in a large project expected to run until July 2027, with the possibility of further involvement in follow-up or new projects as the business grows.

The project consists in the (re)authorization of botanical extracts (e.g. essential oils, tinctures) used as feed flavorings in the European Union (EU). Due to the large number of extracts, this exciting project makes CoGreen consulting a crucial stakeholder in the safety evaluation and authorization process of botanical feed flavorings in the EU.Feed business operators from all over Europe are involved in this project!

The future collaborator will progressively take the lead of several botanical extracts (re)authorization projects. Longer-term perspectives are to involve the future collaborator in further feed (e.g. zootechnical ornutritional additives) and food (e.g. food contact materials, novel foods) projects.

The future collaborator will be expected to :

  • collect and check data from the applicants,
  • provide strategical advice for dossiers preparation,
  • perform scientific literature reviews,
  • write technical dossiers including safety assessments following respective guidance documents from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).

The following skills and qualifications are expected for the future employee :

  • A PhD or master in a scientific field (e.g. animal / plant / microbiology / food science ...). Profiles in toxicological chemistry are favored.
  • Excellent writing skills in English,
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to work interdisciplinary,
  • Self organization, project management, very good learning skills,
  • Work / study experience in the field of regulatory affairs is an asset.

A few travels per year may occur, usually to Barcelona / Brussels. The future collaborator will benefit of a competitive salary in view of his / her qualifications. The work (full time or 70 / 80%) is in English.

Starting date : August 3, 2025.
