Our client is a global Tier 1 in the manufacturing industry and is looking for a Regional VP Business unit".
Location is flexible in Europe with hybrid option.
Main responsabilities:
Develop and implement business strategies aligned with the company’s vision and regional market needs.
Drive the business unit’s growth through organic initiatives, market expansion, and potential M&A activities.
Ensure alignment of regional objectives with global corporate goals.
Full responsibility for the regional business unit’s P&L, budgeting, and financial performance.
Oversee all core functions: sales, operations, production, quality, supply chain, and customer service.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as profitability, productivity, and quality.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and market diversification.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Lead, mentor, and develop regional management teams, fostering a culture of performance and collaboration.
Implement talent development and succession planning to support current and future business needs.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and innovative work environment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, products, and services.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Lead operational excellence programs to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in the automotive or industrial manufacturing sector, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
Proven track record in P&L management, business development, and operational excellence.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive strategic growth.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural, matrixed, and fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
