Overview : We have an exciting opportunity for a senior sales professional whose main responsibilities will include managing relationships with our hotel chain and management company partners at the Director and VP levels, as well as identifying new business development opportunities with these partners. You will be responsible for achieving a new-booked business and renewal quota, demonstrating solution-selling and comprehensive account management skills, while effectively managing your Sales Development Representative. The goal is to grow overall partnerships and increase Cvent's market share of clients' organizational spend.

The Hospitality Cloud provides hotels with a targeted advertising platform designed to reach event planners researching destinations, venues, and sourcing groups and meetings business. As one of Cvent’s largest and fastest-growing divisions, we seek experienced, collaborative, and creative sellers to expand our value in the hospitality industry, extending beyond marketing into analytics, productivity tools, mobile technology, and more.

This position offers opportunities to travel to Cvent’s international offices for training alongside our global Sales team.

In This Role, You Will :
  1. Develop current relationships and identify new contacts to meet and exceed revenue expectations.
  2. Create and pursue targeted Key Accounts, including new partners, with individual plans of action to penetrate these accounts.
  3. Travel up to 30% to attend major tradeshows, hotel sales conferences, host seminars, or meet clients.
  4. Manage your revenue pipeline effectively to maximize new business opportunities.
  5. Exceed revenue and renewal targets through closing new business and managing existing accounts.
  6. Analyze performance data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  7. Navigate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders within Key Accounts.
  8. Collaborate with property-level sales teams and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, share feedback, and tailor sales strategies.
  9. Manage and mentor a Sales Associate supporting your activities.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Here's What You Need :
  1. University degree or equivalent.
  2. Ability to speak German to a business standard.
  3. Extensive experience selling to and managing hotel accounts at the corporate level.
  4. Familiarity with high outbound call volume sales environments.
  5. Passion for technology and digital marketing benefits.
  6. Strong analytical skills, data analysis experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  7. Effective integration of prospecting, consultative selling, product demonstrations, negotiation, and understanding of operation/process flow and product functions.
  8. Strong initiative and personal leadership skills, capable of working independently and contributing to team efforts.
