A leading technology provider for the pharmaceutical industry is seeking an experienced Sales Manager based in Germany. The role involves driving sales, building relationships within the German pharma sector, and significant travel. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and a proven record in B2B sales.

Qualifikationen

  • At least 2 years of experience in B2B technical sales in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
  • A record in Capex or equipment sales is highly desirable.
  • Technical degree or strong technical affinity preferred.

We are exclusively partnered with a leading provider of innovative technology solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, this company specializes in delivering end-to-end systems that ensure the safe and efficient production and packaging of medications. With a strong global presence and a focus on digital transformation, they support clients in optimizing processes across the entire pharmaceutical value chain.

They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive new client growth in Germany.

The role can be remotely based in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales across OEM, services, and consulting offerings within the German pharmaceutical market.
  • Strengthen the company’s market position by identifying business opportunities and implementing tailored sales strategies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners across the German pharma sector.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers, ensuring long-term partnerships through development planning and continuous support.
  • Collaborate with technical sales and consulting teams to align proposals, lead negotiations, and close deals.
  • Monitor and report on regional sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends.
  • Represent the company at relevant German trade fairs, conferences, and industry events.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer data and activities in the CRM system.

Key requirements

  • A successfully completed degree in a technical field or high technical affinity e..g engineering, is a plus
  • Proven experience (2+) in B2B technical sales within Germany, involving capital equipment or project-based solutions in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
  • A track record in Capex or equipment sales to pharma is highly desirable
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Very High willingness to travel to meet customers and attend events – 50%+
