Jobbeschreibung

NAVTOR is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager primarily for Germany, with additional regional focus areas to be determined.

As a key member of the Sales Team, the individual will be responsible for securing new revenue streams and expanding geographical territories by promoting the full range of NAVTOR products and services.

The role involves contacting potential buyers to promote and present NAVTOR's products and portfolio, as well as arranging new customer visits.

The incumbent will serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and potential sales leads passed from other parts of the business.

They will aim to continuously manage the customer experience and service provision to meet SLAs, performance, and profitable revenue targets set by the company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing NAVTOR's commercial and sales activities for existing clients and new business development within a defined sales area in Germany, with potential responsibility for additional areas.
  • Planning and executing strategic sales activities to achieve growth and targets.
  • Expanding the customer base and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Providing sales forecasts, conducting market analysis, and staying informed on industry regulations.
  • Delivering presentations, product demonstrations, and supporting prospective customers.
  • Identifying new business opportunities through local research or existing data, and following up on leads.
  • Contributing to the wider Germany and global NAVTOR sales teams.
  • prospecting new clients via various channels, including cold calling.
  • Managing key accounts and growing existing business.
  • Providing technical advice and support for product and service installations on vessels.
  • Maintaining effective records of meetings, deals, and client contacts within NAVTOR’s CRM system.
  • Collaborating closely with NAVTOR’s global Technical Support and Customer Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting regularly to the Country Managing Director.
Qualifications
  • A higher-level qualification such as BTEC, HND, or HNC in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or Management.
Experience and Skills
  • Over 5 years’ experience in sales or related commercial roles.
  • Proven experience in technical sales of e-Navigation products.
  • Experience in shipping, digital chart distribution, or related industries.
  • Track record of building revenue streams and negotiating margins.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented.
  • Highly proficient with computers and quick to learn new systems.
  • Fluent in German and English.
