Aqua is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our growing team. This remote role requires strong sales skills and relationship-building capabilities to generate new customer opportunities. You will manage client relationships throughout the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closure, as well as deployment and ongoing customer satisfaction. Establishing trusted relationships and leveraging internal technical resources to influence the sales process are key. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing startup environment and can work independently within a team-oriented organization.

  • Prospect, close, develop, and maintain enterprise-level accounts and relationships.
  • Initiate proactive outbound visits and interactions to acquire new business and strengthen relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for customer development and revenue growth to increase market share.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for your customer base, including new customer acquisition and account management within your territory.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Follow up on trade show, demo requests, and leads within your account base.
  • Convert solution inquiries into sales and up-sell opportunities.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with assigned accounts, aiming for a renewal rate of 95% or higher.
  • Record all relevant information in Aqua’s CRM (Salesforce) and advance customers through the sales cycle.
  • Prepare customer proposals and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and solicitations.

Requirements

  • Established relationships across the industry, including VARs and SAs.
  • Proven success in closing complex six-figure deals with large, strategic accounts with high technical aptitude.
  • Ability to build partnerships with C-Level executives in target markets such as Financial Services, Retail, Telecom, and Healthcare.
  • Strong relationships within the territory and with channel and strategic alliance partners.
  • Consistent achievement of multi-million-dollar quotas and success in closing complex service and solution sales in competitive environments.
  • Knowledge of Cloud and SaaS offerings is essential.
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
  • Experience conducting business via phone, including prospecting, selling, and servicing customers.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce is highly desirable.
