Overview

We seek a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive direct sales and distribution of SMPS or power components products across the DACH region. This role is ideal for a hunter-minded sales professional with a strong ability to identify and secure new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market share within the rail industry, building relationships with key customers, and managing distributor partnerships. A proven track record in technical sales and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities And Activities Include

  • Drive Sales Growth – Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the market for SMPS products in the DACH region, focusing on direct sales and distribution.
  • Business Development – Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the rail industry, leveraging a hunter mindset to drive revenue growth.
  • Distributor Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ensuring effective collaboration and sales performance in the region.
  • Customer Engagement – Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored power solutions to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy – Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to refine sales strategies and maximise market penetration

Education And Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in electronics sales, specifically in SMPS or power components products.
  • Must have experience selling SMPS or power components.
  • Selling into the railway, defence, or aerospace sectors is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a 50:50 split between direct sales and working with distribution partners.
  • Based in southern Germany, it could be near the Swiss border.
  • A hunter mindset, with a strong ability to identify and close new business opportunities.
  • Fluency in English and at least B1–C1 level German is preferred.
