Job Description:

Join zooplus as a Regional Pricing Lead and drive data-driven pricing strategies across multiple markets. Lead a team of Pricing Managers, optimize sales and margins, and collaborate with leadership to refine pricing strategies. If you have strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and a passion for e-commerce, this is your chance to make an impact!

  • Steer the pricing efforts that drive sales and margin performance in the Europe region.
  • Lead and develop a team of regional pricing managers and collaborate with central and regional leadership by monitoring market conditions, pricing performance, driving initiatives and providing data-driven insights to further refine the regional and central pricing strategy.
  • Review regional and country-level goals for Net Sales, Volume and Contribution Margin and effectively translate them into parameter settings for pricing strategies.
  • Break down annual goals into plans allowing for precise execution of pricing strategies and adjustments based on market dynamics.
  • Monitor and report on regional and local pricing performance covering all relevant dimensions such as customer perception, market trends, competitive landscape and shop performance.
  • Use data-driven analysis to understand pricing performance and root causes.
  • Develop strategies to close gaps and further improve pricing performance.
  • Develop and implement pricing tests and experiments to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Lead pricing strategy meetings and workshops with central, regional and country stakeholders.
  • Collect, investigate and resolve pricing inconsistencies together with business and technology teams.
  • Advise regional and country leadership in pricing related topics for their respective portfolio.
  • Provide guidance and training to various stakeholders to improve understanding of pricing strategies.
  • Lead and develop a team of Regional Pricing Managers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. MBA or other advanced qualifications are a plus.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in pricing management, strategy, or related roles, preferably within the Central European market.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of leading teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel, pricing software, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Fluency in English and German strongly desired.
