Regional Operations Center (ROC) Lead - Internal Applicants Only

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

TS SCI

As a Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) ROC Lead, you will supervise the Incident Response process of the Germany ROC to detect and protect data across various sources and locations.

Your responsibilities include ensuring ROC staff validate suspicious events, determine incidents, and properly report them. You will supervise Senior Watch Officers, Watch Officers, and Analysts at your ROC. Additionally, you will serve as the corporate lead for all Adapt Forward processes and supervisory actions as needed.

Position Requirements and Duties
  • Ensure all DCO-W personnel meet CSSP training requirements, including training on relevant tools and procedures.
  • Develop training curricula and lead tabletop exercises.
  • Oversee quality control of tickets and analysis performed by analysts.
  • Monitor and facilitate ECOPS processes with ROC staff and corporate back office.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by project or corporate leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be a current Adapt Forward employee in good standing.
  • At least two years of experience in the NIWC LANT CSSP environment or similar.
  • Familiarity with CJCSM 6510.01B and relevant policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in incident response quality assurance and report analysis.
  • Ability to simplify complex reports for senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of ECOPS for contractor accreditation.
  • Strong project management and SOP documentation skills.
  • Analytical skills for validating suspicious events.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination.
  • Knowledge of network intrusion detection, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Technical skills in digital forensics on Windows and other OS.
  • Experience with PCAP analysis tools like Wireshark.
  • Ability to analyze network and system logs using Splunk and other tools.
  • Familiarity with IDS/IPS solutions.
  • Willingness to work extended hours/support surge activities.
Certifications
  • Required: 8570 IAT II CNDSP Analyst or Incident Responder.
  • Desired: 8570 IAT III, IAM III, CSSP Manager.
