CEVA Logistics in Frankfurt is seeking a Regional Manager Aerospace Central Germany (m/f/d) to lead the aerospace organization in the region. You will focus on leadership, commercial steering, and quality while developing your team and strengthening our position with customers and network partners.

The role requires several years in a leadership role within freight forwarding, fluent German and English, and strong P&L skills.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of leadership experience in freight forwarding.
• Strong commercial sense with P&L and procurement negotiation skills.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Dangerous goods training (Gefahrgutschulung) or willingness to obtain it.
• Willingness to travel.

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the assigned team and staff development.

• Ownership of month-end closing and data review.
• Central purchasing and renegotiation of subcontracted services.

YOUR MISSION: LEADERSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY

As Regional Manager Aerospace Central Germany (m/f/d) based in Frankfurt, you hold full disciplinary and functional responsibility for the aerospace organization in your region. Your focus is not day-to-day operations but leadership, commercial steering and quality: ensuring smooth and economically sound, while developing your team and strengthening our position with customers and network partners.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the assigned team, including working time management and staff development
• Full P&L accountability for the station: monitoring the earnings situation and initiating corrective measures in case of deviation
• Ownership of the station's month-end closing and review of all closing-relevant data
• Central purchasing and renegotiation of all subcontracted services (carriers, hauliers, warehouse providers)
• Governance of incoming service provider invoices and accountability for timely payment of outgoing invoices
• Escalation point for fundamental issues and for customer escalations requiring management attention
• Interface between operations, IBS and sales; key contact for Controlling, Accounting, Import and Export Management
• Customer visits together with sales (existing customer care) and business trips to customers and partners in coordination with sales
• Building and expanding relationships within our network
• Regular exchange and alignment with the other Regional Managers

YOUR PROFILE:

• Several years of experience in a leadership position within the freight forwarding industry
• Sound commercial understanding, particularly in P&L steering and procurement/negotiation
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Proficient in MS Office
• Dangerous goods training (Gefahrgutschulung) or willingness to obtain it
• Willingness to travel
