Are you interested in helping shape a ramp‑up? Then join us in developing a new 50,000 m² European DC location in Meppen and contribute your expertise as an Operations Manager (m/f/d) in Outbound!

Your future responsibilities:

• Leading and developing the outbound operations team
• Ensuring the timely processing of customer orders and customer satisfaction
• Strategic resource planning and optimal coordination of order volumes and staffing
• Managing, monitoring, and optimizing work processes, as well as reviewing process quality
• Ensuring compliance with contractual service levels and productivity targets
• Initiating and implementing improvement projectsAnalyzing and monitoring key performance indicators and supporting the team in implementing measures
• Participating in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits and certifications

What we’re looking for:

• A bachelor’s degree in economics with a focus on logistics or a comparable field, or completed vocational training in a relevant field
• Several years of hands‑on logistics experience in a logistics company and experience in managing a team (>50 employees, ideally in a multi‑shift system)
• Comprehensive knowledge of shipping and container scheduling
• A fair, motivating, and consistent leadership style
• A strong hands‑on approach, organizational skills, and a high level of customer and service awareness
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (ideally SAP)
• Good written and spoken English skills
