The Opportunity:

• We are offering a unique chance to step into a defining Head of Finance / CFO role at a fast-growing, newly acquired private equity portfolio company - from day one. As Regional CFO, you will take a critical leadership position within a highly dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professionalize accounting and finance processes across the organization
• Develop group structures and consolidate reporting for 13 international legal entities
• Build internal project cost allocation systems
• Establish controlling functions, including data warehousing and KPI-based reporting
• Introduce budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning processes
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and bank reporting
• Support M&A activities, post-merger integration, and process digitization alongside PE owners
• Demonstrate strong technical expertise in accounting standards
• Exhibit a hands-on mentality and take ownership in a fast-paced, scaling environment
• Contribute commercially beyond finance - support strategic decision-making and cross-functional planning

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in senior finance roles such as Head of Finance, Head of Accounting, Head of Finance & Controlling, Head of FP&A, Finance Manager, or similar
• Preferred industry backgrounds include Professional Services; industrial experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Solid track record in Transaction Services, Audit, or Consulting environments
• Experience working in a private equity-backed company and direct engagement with investors is a strong advantage
• Strong leadership skills combined with hands-on operational experience
• Deep understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, controlling, and business intelligence
• Strategic mindset with commercial acumen and the ability to influence cross-functional decisions
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
