The team you will be joining is a well-functioning EMEA team. We work closely together with our global organization who drive our overall company product strategy. Among others, your tasks will include:

• Ownership of SGL export procurement, tariffs, pricing tools and rate applications.
• Drive carrier management, performance and optimization.
• Support execution of the commercial strategy across the region.
• Drive competitive pricing strategies via gateways and identify best solutions to maximize profitability for air freight products, both regionally and in supporting local countries.
• Create and execute sales campaigns as required to help business development.
• Responsibility for overall regional pricing strategies of RFQ / tender requests in corporation.
• Support trade lanes development to maximize existing base loads and increase profitability.
• Communicate market updates throughout the organization.
• Must be able to travel and represent SGL EMEA air freight products as required.

• Have extensive knowledge of air freight forwarding business.
• Can cope with multiple tasks in parallel, particularly RFQs.
• Are fluent in at least German and English.
• Hold strong analytical skills, with excellent capability in Microsoft Excel.
• Have extensive knowledge of the German air freight market.
• Have commercial experience and capabilities.
• Can work under pressure.
• Hold a strong problem-solving skill set.
• Have a pleasant personality and are a good team player.
• Hold good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work independently and at the same time, be part of a highly successful team.
• Have entrepreneurial skills.
