The Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. You will act as a brand ambassador for BD, focused on delivering exceptional talent while providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search. You will serve as a subject matter authority in talent acquisition and provide consultative direction and industry expertise to your hiring leaders.

Work Details
  • Location: Germany
  • Arrangement: Hybrid, based near Heidelberg / Karlsruhe or Kelberg, 2 days onsite
  • Schedule: Standard office hours
  • Language Requirements: Proficient in German & English. Additional European languages (French / Spanish / Italian) are advantageous.
Role Responsibilities
  1. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from briefing to offer management for various levels, from entry to managerial.
  2. Lead detailed job scope meetings with hiring leaders, determine position specifications, and provide market data and strategic recommendations.
  3. Create engaging job advertisements to attract suitable candidates.
  4. Develop and execute recruitment marketing and sourcing plans, identifying the most effective candidate sources.
  5. Review applicants via ATS, evaluate qualifications, and select candidates for the next recruitment stages.
  6. Source candidates through resume databases, Boolean search, networking, and referrals.
  7. Conduct professional phone interviews with role-specific questions.
  8. Engage and prepare candidates for interviews, including coaching on logistics, attire, and expectations, while providing timely updates.
  9. Partner with hiring managers to agree on offer details, using market data and compensation guidelines.
  10. Present job offers and negotiate as needed to secure candidate acceptance.
  11. Provide regular, accurate reports on recruitment activities and metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
  • At least three years of recruiting experience, ideally in a corporate RPO or agency environment, with success in using ATS and social media tools.
  • Experience recruiting for large, complex organizations; life sciences sector experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in German and English; additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
Technical Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in Boolean sourcing techniques.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of HR principles, practices, and metrics related to talent acquisition.
