The Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. You will act as a brand ambassador for BD, focused on delivering exceptional talent and providing proactive communication on the search status. You will be a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, offering consultative guidance and industry insights to hiring leaders.

• Work Location: Germany
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid - based near Heidelberg/ Karlsruhe or Kelberg – 2 days onsite
• Work Schedule: Standard office hours
• Specific requirements: Proficient in German & English; additional European languages (French/Spanish/Italian) are advantageous.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle from briefing to offer management for roles ranging from entry level to managerial. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading detailed job scope meetings with hiring managers, providing market data and search strategies.
• Creating engaging job advertisements using available tools.
• Developing recruitment marketing and sourcing plans to identify the best candidate sources.
• Reviewing applications promptly and evaluating candidate qualifications against role requirements.
• Sourcing candidates via resume databases, search engines, networking, and referrals.
• Conducting professional phone interviews with industry-specific questions.
• Engaging candidates throughout the process, preparing them for interviews, and providing logistical and expectation updates.
• Partnering with hiring managers on offer details, supported by market data and compensation guidelines.
• Presenting job offers and negotiating as needed.
• Providing regular, accurate reporting on recruitment activities to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience:

• At least three years of successful recruiting experience in a corporate, RPO, or agency setting, including experience with ATS and social media tools.
• Experience recruiting for large, complex organizations, preferably in the life sciences sector.
• Proficiency in German and English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.

Technical Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in Boolean search techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and metrics related to talent acquisition.
