The role

A leading global insurance firm are seeking a driven and experienced Recruiter to support hiring across Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and other European locations. This role offers the chance to shape recruitment strategy, elevate employer branding, and work closely with business leaders to attract top talent in a collaborative, people-first culture.

Summary of the role and key responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with senior leaders and HR to understand hiring needs and offer consultative support
  • Build and manage supplier relationships to enhance employer branding and talent pipelines

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Lead the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to offer
  • Manage candidate experience and ensure data accuracy in the ATS
  • Use creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidates
  • Communicate the company’s value proposition and culture to the external market

Process & Strategy

  • Analyse recruitment data to improve hiring processes
  • Recommend system and process enhancements based on feedback and trends
  • Align recruitment activity with business goals and values

Key Skills Required

  • Proven full-cycle recruitment experience (insurance/financial services a plus)
  • Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using ATS platforms, social media, and sourcing tools
  • Familiarity with European employment regulations (or willingness to learn)
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Flexibility to support recruitment across multiple geographies (some travel required).
