Help Duties

• Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager.
• Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility.
• Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts.
• Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material.
  
  

Requirements Conditions of Employment

• Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts that include nights, weekend and holidays.
• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must obtain the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service.
  
  

Qualifications

Incumbents should possess related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above.

Highly Qualifying Criteria

Applicants who claim and meet the below highly qualifying criteria will be referred to management first. Claims must be verifiable in your resume. All supporting documentation should be submitted at the time of application.

• Civilian fitness facility or military Physical Fitness Center (PFC) experience
• Candidate should possess/demonstrate sound customer service, business management, and marketing skills
• Demonstrated understanding of fitness equipment usage and maintenance
• Possess the following certifications: CPR, First Aid, and AED
• Proven excellent communication, organizational and planning skills
