What you’ll do as a Chef De Partie
- Produce large batches of food in line with approved recipes, specifications, and production plans.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and portion control.
- Follow food safety, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), allergen management, and temperature control procedures at all times.
- Organise your section effectively, ensuring ingredients, equipment, and materials are prepared to meet production schedules.
- Minimise waste, maximise yield, and support cost-effective kitchen operations.
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are achieved.
Does this sound like you?
- Experience working as a Chef or in a similar role within a high-volume food production or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP procedures, allergen management, and temperature control requirements.
- Ability to follow recipes, specifications, and production instructions accurately and consistently.
- Well organised, able to prioritise workloads, and comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment.
- A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and takes ownership of delivering high standards.
- Fast-paced and physically demanding environment – ability to stand for long periods and working in high-temperature condition
