Happy to Help Gateshead is seeking caring individuals to provide weekly cleaning and home support to older adults in their own homes across Gateshead. Start with 2–3 hours per week and gradually increase hours to suit the helper and clients.

Role includes light shopping, prescription collection, bill payments, and maintaining client records with weekly handover to the head office.

Home Help and Cleaning Assistant for Older People in Gateshead (Domestic Only)

Are you compassionate, reliable, and looking to make a real difference in the lives of older people?

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our friendly team providing weekly cleaning and home support services to older adults in their own homes in various locations across Gateshead.

This role is all about supporting our clients to maintain independence and improve their quality of life by making sure their homes are clean, tidy and comfortable in line with their wishes and needs.

Assistants tend to start with 2-3 hours per week, and then build up hours to suit their needs.

• -Ensuring homes are clean and tidy, by following the individual home help plan for each client
• -Providing shopping, prescription collection and paying bills for clients
• -Filling in client records, taking payment and bringing paperwork and payment to the head office on a weekly basis.
