Mercor is seeking a Domain Expert – Diagnostic Imaging (Visage 7 Research) for a remote, contract engagement. You will ensure imaging records reflect acquisitions, compare current studies to prior ones, and prepare records for next readers or conferences.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in diagnostic radiology or PACS/informatics and frequent Visage 7 use, with a relevant credential or degree as listed in the qualifications. This role demands meticulous, auditable documentation.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with radiology residency or fellowship training (board certification or eligibility preferred).
• ARRT, RDMS, NMTCB, or equivalent technologist credential with hands-on advanced-visualization experience.
• Bachelor's degree in health informatics, medical imaging, computer science, or a related field, plus imaging informatics certification (CIIP, PARCA) or equivalent hands-on PACS administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirm the patient's imaging record reflects actual acquisitions and conclusions, especially on partial handoffs and incomplete studies.
• Work out the current imaging position as of the relevant study date, compare against the correct prior, and record it with a follow‑up recommendation where indicated.
• Distinguish session‑only actions from those that persist to the record and affect downstream readers.
• Judge completeness: ensure the study is interpretable, the correct prior is available, nothing is left open, and the record is ready for the next reader or conference.
• Verify recorded outcomes are traceable, reproducible, and auditable, not just noted informally.

Role Responsibilities

Qualifications Must-Have

• Frequent Visage 7 use — weekly or more — in your current or recent role.
• 2+ years of professional experience in diagnostic radiology, imaging technology, imaging operations, or PACS /imaging informatics.
• Reflexive familiarity with study status transitions, prior comparison, and the preliminary‑versus‑final distinction.
• One of the following:
  • MD/DO with radiology residency or fellowship training (board certification or eligibility preferred).
  • ARRT , RDMS , NMTCB , or equivalent technologist credential with hands‑on advanced‑visualization experience.
