Mercor is seeking a Computer Vision MLE for a remote contract role lasting 3–4 weeks, at $135/hour, with a 20+ hour weekly commitment. The role focuses on benchmarking, evaluating, and reporting on AI model performance for a discerning audience.

You will work asynchronously to measure baselines, data quality, and ceilings, translating findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in computer vision and ML engineering.
• Experience classifying or grading physical objects from images.
• Strong evaluation discipline in representative sampling and accuracy benchmarking.
