Zusammenfassung

Aptiv is seeking a Radar Architect to define system architectures for FMCW, Pulse-Doppler and MIMO radar modules. You will own end-to-end radar system performance, translate customer needs into roadmaps, and lead major technical decisions across multiple projects.

As a technical leader, you will guide signal processing, RF design, and sensor fusion efforts, mentor engineers, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to push innovation in autonomous and connected mobility.

Radar Architect role:

Major Accountabilities Defines radar system architectures and long-term technology strategies. Serves as technical authority for radar systems, signal processing, and RF system design. Owns end-to-end radar system performance, technical direction, and architectural decisions. Translates customer and business needs into radar system architectures and development roadmaps. Defines system-level requirements, performance budgets, and subsystem allocations. Leads architecture reviews, design reviews, and major technical decision processes. Directs development of radar concepts, waveforms, signal processing architectures, and RF system solutions. Establishes engineering standards, methodologies, and best practices. Leads resolution of critical system-level technical challenges. Drives innovation, intellectual property generation, and next-generation radar technologies. Influences product strategy and technology investments. Provides technical leadership across multiple projects and engineering organizations. Represents the organization in customer, supplier, regulatory, and executive-level technical discussions. Coaches and develops senior technical talent across the radar organization.

Radar Architecture Expertise FMCW Radar Architectures, Pulse-Doppler Radar, MIMO Systems, Digital Beamforming Systems Multi-Sensor Architectures, Radar Perception Systems, Distributed Radar Systems. Ability to architect complete radar systems from concept through production. Strong understanding of radar performance budgeting and system optimization. Signal Processing Expertise Detection Theory, Statistical Signal Processing, Estimation Theory, Advanced Tracking Adaptive Signal Processing, Clutter Suppression, Interference Mitigation, AI/ML Applications for Radar, Sensor Fusion, Ability to define and evaluate novel radar processing approaches. RF Systems Expertise RF and Microwave System Design, Receiver Architecture, Transmitter Architecture, Antenna Systems, Array Processing, EMC/EMI, mmWave Radar Design, Calibration Architectures System-Level RF Performance Optimization Leadership & Business Competencies Exceptional technical leadership and influencing skills, ability to drive architectural alignment across organizations, Strong customer-facing communication skills, Ability to balance technical, business, cost, schedule, and product objectives. Strong mentoring and talent development capabilities.
