Overview
The Editor-in-Chief of Roentgen Ray Review (R3) is responsible for ensuring the overall quality, relevance, and integrity of the journal’s scholarly content. This includes overseeing a rigorous, fair, and efficient peer review process, while upholding the mission and editorial scope of R3.
The Editor-in-Chief leads the recruitment and appointment of associate editors, editorial board members, and peer reviewers, and provides strategic direction for the journal’s editorial priorities. As chair of the editorial board, the Editor-in-Chief facilitates regular meetings to assess progress, gather feedback, and align on goals.
Additionally, the Editor-in-Chief prepares biannual reports for the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Executive Council summarizing editorial performance and key developments.

Qualifications:
Compensation: The Editor-in-Chief will receive compensation commensurate with experience. The role is expected to require a time commitment of approximately 30–35%.
