You support our team as

R&D Chemist – Metal Pre-Treatment (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

1. Development: Drive R&D projects in metal pre-treatment (MPT), from concept to series production.
2. Testing: Plan and perform lab experiments, documenting results.
3. Characterization: Analyze surfaces using physical and chemical measurement methods.
4. Scaling: Support transferring lab results to pilot and production scales.
5. Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize materials and process parameters.

Qualifications

1. Education: University degree in chemistry, preferably organic or inorganic, or equivalent qualification.
2. Experience: 2–5 years in surface treatment or R&D is preferred.
3. Skills: Strong analytical thinking, structured, solution-oriented approach.
4. Mindset: Enthusiasm for hands-on experiments, attention to detail, good communication and collaboration skills.
5. Languages: Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
