We are based in the historic city of Regensburg, located 100 km north of Munich in southern Germany. Our focus is on high-volume fiber optic products, optical transceivers, and sensors for industrial and automotive applications. As a global leader in industrial fiber optics, we continuously expand our product portfolio to include optical sensing. We are looking to strengthen our team by offering a permanent position for an Application Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide customer application support for the Broadcom IFPD product portfolio, including optical transmitters, receivers, transceivers, and sensors.
• Initiate and optimize characterization setups.
• Perform characterization and design validation for manufacturing using equipment such as BERT, DCA, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, and other laboratory tools.
• Generate data sheets, application notes, and white papers.
• Analyze field returns and support quality initiatives.
• Conduct feasibility studies for early market assessments.
