We are seeking a dedicated Frontend Software Engineer (f / m / d) to ensure sustainable development of the platform frontend of Jedox #executeexcellence. In this role, you will work on improving KPI-driven delivery for platform customers continuously. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining visual frontend components for the Jedox platform.
  2. Contributing to the global design system, including the implementation of components.

Additionally, you will play a key role in:

  1. Participating as a major stakeholder in the entire software development lifecycle, including refinement, design, prototyping, implementation, testing, rollout, and maintenance.
  2. Evaluating new technologies to meet new requirements or optimize performance and stability.
  3. Collaborating closely with product management, implementation services, quality assurance, and support.
  4. Leading and training other (junior) engineers in the team to enhance their capabilities.
  5. Ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Your Profile

You are an experienced software developer with over 4 years of experience and the ability to lead and train other (junior) engineers.

  • 4+ years experience in Software Development.
  • Ability to lead and train other (junior) engineers to improve their work on development and implementation parts.
  • Ability to lead discussions with stakeholders like PM, QA, implementation services on technical and strategic topics.
  • Handling cross-team tasks and being the go-to person for cross-team technical issues.
  • Knowledge of writing clean code, applying design patterns, and unit testing.
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and UI design languages.
  • Experience developing responsive web-based UI.
  • Experience with CI / CD and development toolchains such as Git / GitHub.
  • Familiarity with working in an agile environment, e.g., Scrum.

For this role, candidates should be based near our offices in Freiburg or Frankfurt.
