Classiq, a quantum computing software company, is seeking a Quantum Application Engineer to work with enterprise customers in the EMEA region to design, build, and scale real-world quantum applications. You will guide onboarding, lead collaborative projects, and serve as the technical voice of the customer inside Classiq.

Competenze

• PhD in physics, CS, or a related quantum information science field.
• 3+ years in quantum algorithm design, research, or software development.
• Experience leading technical sessions with R&D and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English.
• Strong Python skills and experience with quantum SDKs (Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq, TKet).
• Experience with Quantum Chemistry.
• Experience with QML.
• Experience with a wide variety of quantum algorithms.

As a Quantum Application Engineer, you’ll work closely with our enterprise customers in the EMEA region to help them design, build, and scale real-world quantum applications. You’ll guide onboarding, lead collaborative projects, and serve as the technical voice of the customer inside Classiq. You’ll work at the intersection of quantum research, applied engineering, and customer impact, helping some of the world’s leading companies explore and adopt quantum computing.

What you'll do

Who are you

• PhD in physics, computer science, or a related field to quantum information science
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in quantum algorithm design, research, or software development
• Experience leading technical sessions with R&D and engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
• Strong proficiency in Python and quantum SDKs (e.g., Qmod, Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq, Tket)
• fluent English, written and spoken.
