John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a capable Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on high-value construction projects. You will manage subcontractor analysis, valuations, variations, and final accounts while maintaining robust financial controls.

You will also contribute to forecasting, risk assessment and claims avoidance, ensuring timely project cash flow and commercial integrity across site activities.

Competenze

• Degree level education and working towards relevant professional accreditation.
• Knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Letter and report writing skills.
• Negotiation skills; Contract value reviews (CVRs).
• 2-day safety appreciation course including contract and commercial awareness.
• CIOB membership or eligibility.
• Desirable: Experience with larger Design and Build contracts.
• Desirable: Knowledge of claims and dispute resolution.
• Desirable: Understanding of contract law.
• Desirable: Involvement with contracts above €/£15m without responsibility.
• Desirable: Responsibility for controlling traditional contracts.
• Desirable: Supervise Assistant Quantity Surveyors and sign-off Standard Method of Measurement.

• Apply time management organisational, interpersonal and negotiation skills
