Quantity Surveyors – Assistant to Senior Level

Frankfurt & Düsseldorf, Germany

MLQS is working with a leading international construction contractor to appoint several Quantity Surveyors across major data centre projects in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.

With a strong pipeline of work across Germany and wider Europe, our client is continuing to grow its commercial teams and is looking for Quantity Surveyors at multiple levels, from ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyors through to experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors.

This is an excellent opportunity for commercial professionals looking to build their careers within the rapidly growing European data centre sector, working on large-scale, technically complex projects with an established contractor.

The Role

Working as part of the project commercial team, you will be involved in the commercial management of the project from procurement through to final account.

Depending on your level, responsibilities will include:

• Procurement and commercial management of subcontract packages.
• Preparation and assessment of valuations and payments.
• Cost control, forecasting and reporting.
• Management of variations, change and commercial risk.
• Subcontractor account management.
• Contract administration.
• Supporting commercial negotiations.
• Preparation and agreement of final accounts.
• Working closely with the wider project and construction teams to ensure strong commercial performance.

Senior candidates will take greater ownership of packages and commercial strategy, while Assistant and intermediate-level candidates will work alongside experienced commercial professionals with the opportunity to develop within the business.

What We're Looking For

We are interested in speaking with candidates from Assistant QS through to Senior QS level who have experience within the construction industry.

You will have:

• Quantity Surveying or commercial construction experience.
• Experience working for a main contractor.
• Data centre project experience.
• Strong subcontractor and package management experience.
• Good commercial and contractual understanding.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred, but not essential where candidates can demonstrate strong, relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
• Right to Work in Germany (unfortunately, we are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship).
