To strengthen our team, we are looking for aQuality Resident Team Leader (m/f/d) in our plant in Rastatt.

You will be responsible for ensuring the best quality of Yazaki products and services by the implementation of Quality Management Systems Coordinates as well as, in compliance with internal and external quality standards by implementing quality controls, inspections and countermeasures and the organizations in the adjustment of quality issues.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Communicate with all customers to receive and monitor supplier and customer concerns and with Yazaki production plants to request and follow up on outstanding data from the plants
  • Create, issue, coordinate and track the 8D corrective action process
  • Coordinate the various QRE sites (Rastatt/Germany, Valmet/Finland and KEC/Hungary) and plant visits to confirm verification of countermeasures
  • Coordination of rework activities and review of personnel requirements at the customer plant, this requires a 100% attendance on site.
  • Support and guide the quality engineer in the customer's assembly plant
  • Assist in ensuring the quality function and actively participate and support in project and design activities
  • Maintaining compliance with quality systems (ISO/TS16949)

What you’ll bring with you:

  • University degree, ideally with a technical background or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of team management experience
  • 3 years+ of experience in an international company in the automotive industry
  • Experience with problem solving tools (FMEA, control plan, BOS, 8D, APQP)
  • Analytical and problem and escalation solving skills
  • Fluent in German and good written and spoken English skills
  • Ambitious, flexible, reliable, stress resistance
  • Independent, proactive, and structured way of working
