Qualifikationen

Are you a quality professional with a technical background who wants to take the performance of global suppliers to the next level? In this key role, you will not only ensure the industrial maturity of cabin components, but also drive strategic projects along the supply chain — from the qualification of new products to supplier development. Become part of a dynamic environment as a Quality Manager Supplier Development Aviation at our client Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg!

The gross annual salary is between € 82,500 and max. € 85,400, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Job Description

Tasks

1. Industrial qualification of by-products and suppliers in accordance with Airbus Supplier Requirements (ASR) and airworthiness specifications
2. Ensuring delivery performance through KPIs and initiating immediate measures to safeguard the Airbus Final Assembly Lines
3. Implementation and monitoring of recovery plans in the event of delivery problems to return to Airbus standards
4. Industrial assessments (e.g. IPCA+) for risk monitoring and evaluation of suppliers' production robustness
5. Capacity and capability development of cabin suppliers in line with Airbus growth strategies and global footprint
6. Support for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfers of Work (ToW) to ensure a consistent, quality-oriented supply chain
7. Application of lean methods and implementation of improvement initiatives such as SQIP and co-development projects
8. Proactive interface and risk management with MFT managers, programs, FAL and external stakeholders

Requirements

1. Completed (technical) studies in aerospace, industrial engineering or supply chain quality
2. Several years of professional experience in supplier management, aerospace, quality assurance and supply chain / logistics
3. Basic knowledge of change management, lean management, risk management and total quality management (problem-solving methods)
4. Sound knowledge of SAP R/3 and Google Workspace
5. Business fluent in German and English (min. C1), knowledge of French is an advantage
6. Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa) mandatory
7. Willingness to travel - max. once a month
