Your tasks

1. Inspections and final inspections during production in cooperation with our customers and inspection organizations
2. Assist management in reviewing work instructions and inspection plans prepared by our contractors. Review in accordance with the RCC-M code, customer specifications, and ISO standards
3. Reporting of inspection results and preparation of non-conformance reports as required.
4. Supporting the quality management team in the supplier evaluation process
5. Supporting the expediting team in the supplier evaluation process

Your qualifications

1. Completed degree in mechanical engineering, materials science or similar
2. Certified as a welding engineer, technician or specialist
3. At least three years of demonstrated experience as a QA inspector in pipeline engineering (austenitic and ferritic materials) preferably in nuclear power plant engineering
4. Valid certifications for non-destructive testing such as UT, VT, RT, PT, MT according to DIN EN ISO 9712
5. Knowledge in: DIN EN ISO 9001:2015; EN, ASME, RCC-M Code
6. Processes in the production of pipes and related material (supports, expansion joints, ...) are an advantage
7. Experience in dealing with testing organizations (e.g. TÜV, APAVE, etc.)
8. Proven experience in the preparation/review of work instructions and test plans
9. Professional written and spoken English language skills, German is an advantage
10. Good knowledge of MS Office software
11. Class B driver's license
