We are looking for a Quality Manager (m/w/d) to join the Quality team. You will take an active part in promoting quality achievements and performance improvement throughout the site.

Responsibilities
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the site.
- Define, develop, and actively execute product quality testing, addressing all phases of product development and manufacturing.
- Implement Gauzy's global QMS compliance and objectives and ensure that targets are achieved.
- Establish standards and clearly defined quality methods for the processes.
- Interact with R&D and production departments on root cause failure investigation.
- Work closely with Gauzy's global Quality Manager to improve the site quality management targets.
- Set up and maintain control and documentation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislations, such as ISO 9001, VDA, IATF 16949, etc.
- Practice automotive core tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA…) and risk management methodologies.
- Identify and supervise execution of relevant quality-related training needs for the production team.
- Conduct and oversee quality tests and checks alongside technical staff.
- Liaise with customers' auditors and ensure corrective actions and compliance with customer specifications.
- Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports to improve quality.
- Implement new supplier evaluation, qualification, and conduct supplier quality audits.
- Execute internal quality audits.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of quality assurance experience in production processes within a manufacturing company in the automotive industry.
- Experience with implementation and management of quality assurance metrics.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 regulations and automotive standards (IATF 16949, VDA).
- Knowledge of CAPA and automotive core tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA).
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, project management, and complaint management skills (8D).
- Qualified internal and second-party auditor of VDA and IATF 16949 – advantageous.
- Strong technical understanding.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly MS Excel.
- High proficiency in written and spoken German and English is required.
