A Snapshot of Your Day: Within our Marine Service Team, we support our international customers in solving their problems and improving their processes. We utilize the newest technology and methods to ensure the most efficient and successful outcomes. You will support our project teams in terms of quality assurance and quality control. The task of the QMiP (Quality Manager in Project) is to support the project manager as a partner by planning, monitoring, and reporting on appropriate quality assurance and quality control activities. Of particular importance is the authority to address non-conformities in procedures and project results at any phase of the project. The QMiP acts as a member of the core project team, which is led by the project manager.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Creation and monitoring of the quality plan according to ISO 10005 / 10006 including ITP.
Support in the execution of the ITP, as well as assist all project experts in including quality assurance activities in the project (time table, specifications, delivery requirements).
Provide support to the project team on quality aspects of the FAT on a case-by-case basis.
Distribution, on request, analysis of quality requirements in the RFP / contract and related laws / norms and standards, calculation of effort for QA activities in the project.
If required, supervision and review of product safety tasks EU- / TR- Declaration of Conformity.
Plan, initiate, and coordinate continuous improvement activities for all phases of the project.
Support achievement checks upon request of the PM, as well as support the Quality Gate methodology, Lessons Learned methodology, and the Information Loop.
Support NCC management through root cause analysis, definition of countermeasures, and support for the information loop.
Plan and implement project audits when requested by the project team or customer.
What You Bring
Completed a degree in engineering studies (university or FH) or several years of professional experience in engineering with training in the field of Quality Management.
Professional experience in project management of large-scale industrial plants, offshore or marine projects.
Professional experience in quality management as well as in project management with a strong quality focus.
Practical experience in a project-driven, technically sophisticated environment (in the infrastructure sector such as energy or transport, mechanical or plant engineering).
