Job description
Tasks
- Carrying out acceptance tests of electrical components and cable bundles in accordance with aviation law requirements
- Preparation of delivery documentation and carrying out initial sample inspections
- Support in final assembly lines at Airbus Helicopters
- Supervision of production inspectors (L1/L2) and internal quality gates
- Ensuring the final conformity of components and systems
- Preparation of non-conformities (NCs) as well as Conformities (NCs) and initiation and monitoring of corrective actions
- Troubleshooting of systems and equipment to ensure airworthiness
- Active participation in lean and improvement initiatives as well as ‘Practical Problem Solving’ processes
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training with further training as a master craftsman or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering and quality assurance
- Experience in aviation and with fibre composites desirable
- Confident handling of quality requirements and quality tools is an advantage
- Business fluent German and English, at least C1 level
- Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa) is mandatory
