Zusammenfassung

Advantest seeks a Product Compliance professional to ensure our products meet safety and EMC standards across Europe. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and supplier input to align on regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

In this role you will manage NPIs, manufacturing transfers, and third‑party assessments (CSA, TÜV), while contributing to Product Life Cycle processes and industry activities to advance Advantest’s market access and compliance posture.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of product safety and EMC standards (IEC 61010-1, IEC 60204, IEC 61326) and EU Directives (Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery Safety, RoHS).
• Experience in product testing and compliance certifications.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication.
• Analytical skills to drive corrective actions based on KPIs.

Aufgaben

• Work within the organization of SoC Test Supply Chain Division within the Product Compliance Team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with and consult for all affected organizations and suppliers to ensure products are safe and meet legal requirements and customer expectations.
• Accompany NPIs and manufacturing transfer activities; manage third party bodies (CSA, TÜV) for compliance assessments and certification.
• Involvement in Current Product Engineering activities.
• Influence design of products and processes to ensure safe products meeting legal requirements and customer expectations.
• Interpret Regulatory Compliance Requirements and integrate them into the Product Life Cycle Process.
• Develop and implement Product Market Access Plans, including product regulations and environmental test plans.
• Participate in Product Regulations and Compliance Industry activities (ZVEI, IEEE, SEMI).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cross-functional collaboration with and consulting for all affected organizations and suppliers to ensure that our products are safe and meet all applicable legal requirements, Advantest internal requirements, and customer expectations.
• Accompanying NPIs and manufacturing transfer activities; Managing third party competent bodies (CSA, TÜV) for compliance assessments and certification
• Involvement in CPE (Current Product Engineering) activities
• Influence the design of products and processes to ensure safe products that meet legal requirements and customer expectations. (incl. safety and risk assessments)
• Interpret Regulatory Compliance Requirements and integrate them into our Product Life Cycle Process.
• Develop and implement Product Market Access Plans, including product regulations and environmental test plans. (e.g. product compliance and robustness testing)
• Participate in Product Regulations and Compliance Industry activities that benefit Advantest and our customers. (e.g. ZVEI, IEEE, SEMI)

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
• Deep knowledge of product safety and EMC standards (e.g. IEC 61010-1, IEC 60204, IEC 61326) and European Directives (Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery Safety, RoHS)
• Experience in product testing and compliance certifications
• Outstanding product compliance knowledge and good business acumen
• Analytical skills to drive corrective actions based on KPI’s
• Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
• Strong background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering required
