Zusammenfassung

Advantest is seeking an NPI engineering professional to drive manufacturing excellence for the V93000 IC tester. You will influence HW and test SW designs, qualify changes in NPI and production, and coordinate rollouts across the supply chain.

The role requires strong analytical skills to identify HW issues, ownership mindset, and ability to work with international teams in English and German; travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor/Master degree in electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in end-to-end manufacturing processes of high level electronic assemblies.
• Analytical skills in failure identification and debugging electronic assemblies.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-company environments, english and german.

• Work in the NPI engineering team to drive operational excellence in outsourced manufacturing.
• Actively drive and influence designs of new products (HW and test SW).
• Qualify changes in NPI and production; manage roll out to supply chain.
• Manage product changes for manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and quality improvements.
• Support manufacturing of existing electronic hardware products (V93000 IC tester).
• Define and monitor manufacturing metrics; analyze root causes and define corrective actions.

Jobbeschreibung

• Work in the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering team which drives Advantest towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environment
• Actively drive and influence designs of new products (HW and test SW)
• Qualify changes both in NPI phase and production and manage the roll out to the whole supply chain
• Manage product changes for manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and quality improvements
• Support manufacturing of existing electronic hardware products of the V93000 IC tester
• Define and monitor manufacturing metrics to monitor quality, analyze root causes in case of issues and define corrective actions with the objective to constantly fulfill Advantest customer demand
• Work closely with Advantest contract manufacturers and Advantest development, supply chain and product marketing teams in a very international environment.

• Bachelor/Master degree in electronic engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of development of printed circuit assemblies and years of experience in end-to-end manufacturing processes of high level electronic assemblies
• Analytical skills in failure identification (data analysis to identify HW errors, electronic measurements, debugging electronic assemblies)
• Strong ownership and pro-active mindset
• Ability to define schedules and keep time lines
• Good Communication skills and team player in cross-functional and cross-company environment both in english and german
• Willing to travel up to 20% of time
